Summer Meal

On Monday 18 July we held our annual Summer Evening Meal at The Olde Pump, Barlow, a village near Chesterfield. There was a good turnout and we were looked after well, with many complimentary comments about the food at this hostelry.
Getting through the treatment for head and neck cancer is often not the end of the story. Further operations and treatments are needed to maintain basic functions such as speech and swallowing. It was a pleasure to see members enjoy a social occasion such as this, in a safe environment, and to enjoy the mutual support membership of the group provides.
